Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Market & Competitive Manager to join our team and play a critical role in the Strategy and Resources Department. In this position, you’ll work closely with the commercial and financial teams notably for multi-year planning exercise & strategic opportunities contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. What You’ll Do:
Within the Strategy and Resources Department and reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will:
- Maintain, update and enrich a global market model of the satellite communication market (supply and demand, GEO and LEO, connectivity and video) that will drive the company strategic agenda
- Monitor the competitive landscape with a strong focus on new players entering the LEO connectivity market
- Manage ad hoc analyses on specific verticals and value chain
- Cooperate closely with the commercial and financial teams notably for multi-year planning exercise & strategic opportunities
What You’ll Need:
- Master’s level (top-tier Engineering or Business School, IEP, or renowned postgraduate program)
- Advanced knowledge of the satellite market environment, demand drivers, and competitive landscape
OR
- 5+ years of experience in strategy or consulting: experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, problem solving skills, advanced writing and presentation skills
- Advanced Excel modelling skills (business plans and complex Excel models)
- Attention to detail, fast learner and ability to work independently
- Experienced in working within cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English is mandatory and French would be appreciated
- Previous experience in the space or telecom industry
- Consultancy or market analysis background
