Job description

We are looking for a creative and motivated Content Creator to join our Marketing Team. This role will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing engaging content for our organic social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Facebook. As part of our larger brand marketing team, the Content Creator will play a critical role in shaping our brand’s storytelling through high-quality visuals and videos. While the content will primarily serve our organic social channels, it may also be repurposed for other marketing platforms such as email campaigns, paid social, PR and website.

This position requires a strong understanding of current social media trends, content formats, and best practices within the luxury retail space. The ideal candidate will have experience in content production (photography, video, and editing) and will thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.

This role will report to the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing and have a dotted line to the Creative Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture, edit, and produce high-quality visuals (images, videos, and reels) that align with the brand’s luxury aesthetic and engage our audience across social media platforms.
  • Manage and execute all organic-social first photo shoots, inclusive of organizing talent, product samples, and sets.
  • Partner with the internal photo and style team to create branded social-first content during our campaign photoshoots
  • Align with the brand marketing team to ensure that content supports overarching campaign strategies and storytelling objectives.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, social media developments, and emerging content formats to ensure the brand remains relevant and innovative in the luxury retail space.
  • Organize and manage content assets, ensuring accessibility and quality control for future use across other channels.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing on content testing strategies.
  • Curate additional content creators as needed to supplement the organic social content plan. Create detailed briefs for each creator that incorporates strategic brand messaging and provides specific video examples for them to work off of. Coordinate their product requests, provide feedback and approval on all content, and edit all videos

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in content creation, photography, video production, and/or social media management.
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, and their content requirements.
  • Ability to capture content in a luxury aesthetic that reflects the brand’s identity.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
  • Ability to regularly travel to store locations and photo studio for shoots
  • Experience working in fashion, beauty, or retail is a plus.

The primary location for this role can be based in either our Summit, NJ headquarters or New York City office. We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have flexibility to work remotely. Currently we are operating under a hybrid model whereby all teams work in an office a minimum of two days per week (Tuesdays/Thursdays) and may be provided flexibility to work from home on other days. There may be times when you’re asked to work in our Summit, NJ office because it’s in the best interest of our business or your team.

The annual base salary range for this role is $56,000 - 85,000 (new hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role). It is important to note that our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size, industry, and the market and are one part of the total rewards that we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, scope of the role, and internal peer benchmarking. In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible to be part of the Company’s annual bonus program with a non-binding Company and individual performance-based target bonus.
