Are you passionate about Identity and eager to build a resilient digital framework for a global company We are looking for a visionary candidate to design and implement an innovative IAM program, driving the vision and strategy from the ground up, and ensuring compliance with security policies. If you’re excited about driving innovation in IAM practices and leading a dynamic, remote team, this is the role for you!
What You will Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee our IAM strategy, focusing on Microsoft Entra Suite, SAP, and other Microsoft Cloud services, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- Innovative Solutions: This role offers a unique opportunity to work from a greenfield, allowing the candidate to design and build the IAM program from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have the vision and expertise to create a robust and scalable IAM infrastructure.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle management of user identities, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
- Access Control: Design and enforce access control policies and procedures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Product, and business teams to integrate IAM solutions into existing and new systems.
- Risk Mitigation: Lead regular audits and assessments of IAM processes to identify and mitigate risks.
- Training and Guidance: Lead in the development of training for staff on IAM policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain IAM documentation, including policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Project Leadership: Lead IAM projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with external stakeholders, including vendors and partners, to ensure our IAM posture is robust and aligned with industry standards.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a remote team of IAM professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Professional Growth: Encourage professional development and set clear goals and expectations for team members.
- Resource Management: Ensure the team has the necessary tools, resources, and training to perform their roles effectively.
- Talent Recruitment: Coordinate with HR to recruit and retain top IAM talent.
- Project Management: Manage team workloads and project assignments to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of IAM solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Relevant combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
- Experience: IAM platforms and processes required. While we aim to leverage Entra, deep knowledge of various IAM capabilities is essential to navigate and potentially integrate additional platforms as needed.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate or similar are highly desirable but not required.
- Nice to Have: Experience with SAP, Workday, customer identity (CIAM), and identity management operations.
Skills:
- Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of IAM principles, including authentication, authorization, and access control – with a strong focus on automation
- Strategic: Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute long-term IAM plans.
- Synthesis and Executive Prescence: Experience in advising leadership on IAM risks, strategies, and investments.
- Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to lead large-scale IAM initiatives and projects, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Effective Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interpersonal Savvy: Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Extensive experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units.
