About the Role:

 As a Domain Expert at Socure, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in specific domain areas such as fraud and AML and Compliance  across specific verticals  (such as financial services, healthcare, insurance, or government.) As part of the Strategic Domain Support team, you will drive tailored risk management solutions to meet customer needs and regulatory demands in your industry.

This role combines deep industry knowledge with technical expertise to support sales teams, influence product development, and ensure the delivery of innovative solutions that address specific challenges within fraud. We are seeking an innovator with industry-specific expertise and technical skills to drive the adoption and success of Socure's market-leading offerings. 

Responsibilities:
 

1. Domain Market Expertise:

  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of specific domains (fraud, compliance, risk and governance and cybersecurity) and verticals (e.g., financial services, healthcare, government, insurance) to identify key trends, challenges, and regulatory shifts that impact customers.

  • Provide thought leadership and industry insights to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring Socure remains a trusted partner.

2. Client Consultation and Solution Design:

  • Work closely with customers to understand their unique challenges, business problems, regulatory requirements, and business objectives within the domain.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product management, sales, engineering) to design and deliver solutions that address customer pain points and align with domain-specific best practices.

3. Sales and Pre-Sales Support:

  • Partner with the sales organization to drive business development by providing expertise during the sales cycle, including customer presentations, solution demos, and RFP responses. 

  • Help articulate the value proposition of Socure to prospective clients within the domain, positioning the company’s offerings as the best fit for their needs.

4. Product and Solution Development:

  • Act as a bridge between customers and product teams by relaying customer feedback, market trends, and regulatory changes to influence product roadmap and solution enhancements.

  • Ensure that product offerings are aligned with industry-specific requirements and that solutions are developed to meet emerging trends and future challenges in the domain.

5. Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution:

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new solutions, services, and products tailored to the domain.

  • Support marketing initiatives by contributing to content development, including white papers, case studies, webinars, and industry events.

6. Thought Leadership and Industry Engagement:

  • Represent Socure at industry conferences, webinars, and client events, serving as a domain SME and promoting the company’s solutions. 

  • Contribute to blogs, white papers, and other publications that reinforce the company’s position as an industry leader in the domain.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Financial Crimes Mitigation, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in the domain t are a plus.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in consulting, solution design, or product management within a specific domain and vertical

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the challenges, regulations, and business models within the domain markets.

  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with risk management solutions, compliance frameworks, and data analytics tools used within the specific industry.

Required Skills:

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to lead workshops, presentations, and client consultations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an innovative approach to solution design.

Key Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of the  markets and its risk and regulatory landscape.

  • Excellent consultative selling and client relationship management skills.

  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with both product and technical teams.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage complex customer engagements.

Reporting Line:

  • Reports to the VP of Strategic Domain Support  or similar senior leadership.

Salary Disclosure:

Expected Base Salary Range: $195,000-$230,000
This represents the expected salary base for this job. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including: geography, candidate experience and expertise, and job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, sales incentive payouts, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
