About the Position:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. HR Business Partner / Senior Manager, HR to join our team. This role will focus on enhancing employee relations, driving performance management initiatives, and enabling managers to foster a high-performing culture across multiple locations and sites throughout the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, fully fluent in both French and English, and possess a strong understanding of HR best practices.

What you do daily:

  • Employee Relations:
    • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on employee relations issues across multiple sites.
    • Conduct investigations and resolve employee grievances in a fair and timely manner.
    • Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Performance Management:
    • Lead the performance management process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals across all locations.
    • Provide guidance and training to managers to enhance management competency and performance feedback delivery.
    • Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Manager Enablement:
    • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance managerial skills and competencies tailored to diverse site needs.
    • Support managers in implementing HR policies and procedures effectively across multiple locations.
    • Collaborate with leadership to identify talent development needs and succession planning.
  • Compensation Analysis:
    • Review and approves pay-related changes in the HRIS System and works closely with the business to facilitate internal transfers and promotions.
    • Analyze and set compensation ranges for job families within the enterprise organization.
    • Ensure compensation practices are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives:
    • Participate in various HR projects, including employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and organizational development.
    • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR services.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and programs that cater to a geographically diverse workforce.
    • Ongoing and recurring Federal and State reporting requirements
    • Ongoing internal reporting on people metrics

What makes you a good fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and performance management.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the US and Canada.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are essential.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.

Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. This position will also be eligible for an annual bonus.

Salary Range
$100,000$130,000 USD
