Position Summary

EBI is seeking a full-time Senior Scientist/Program Manager to conduct due diligence services.  The successful candidate will conduct quality control reviews of technical report deliverables including, but not limited to, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Transaction Screen Assessments (TSAs), Regulatory Database Search Reports and/or Record Search Risk Assessments (RSRAs).  In addition, client management of technical assessment outcomes is a primary responsibility of this position, including routine communication and consulting with internal and external clientele.

This position reports to Technical Director and is designated a full remote, work from home position. Candidates need to have an established office in their residence and be comfortable with this working arrangement to be considered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete QC reviews of technical report deliverables;
• Communication of outcomes with internal and external clientele;
• Prepare deliverables with quality supporting documentation (draft/final reports, etc.);
• Travel on short notice (one week or less) will be required at times;
• This position can be in-office or remote location based from a home office.

Qualifications and Capabilities

• Bachelor Degree from accredited college or university in environmental science, engineering or related field;
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in environmental consulting. Specific to Phase I ESAs, must also meet ASTM E1527 qualifications as an Environmental Professional (EP).
• Asbestos Inspector and Lead Inspector Certifications preferred. 
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills;
• Organized with the ability to work on several projects concurrently;
• Must be able to communicate clearly in person, as well as phone and email;
• Strong candidates will possess excellent technical report writing skills;
• Ability to travel to remote locations by means of all modes of transportation.
