About the Role

 

As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and evolution of our product backlog. Your primary responsibility will be defining the functional aspects of every feature prioritized and working closely with the designers in order to achieve a high quality delivery to the development team


You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, and stakeholders, to translate market requirements and customer needs into actionable product features. Your focus will be on delivering value to our clients at the right time and enhancing their overall experience


Responsibilities


  • Lead the product backlog, aligning with the product roadmap and the overall company objectives and customer needs
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements through market research, customer feedback, and stakeholder input
  • Define and communicate clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product priorities to the development team
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features, actively participating in the sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and development teams, providing regular updates on project status and managing expectations
  • Continuously monitoring product performance and user feedback, iterating on features and functionality to improve user experience and achieve business objectives
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in project definitions and developments

 

Qualifications


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automating or executing FinOps processes, handling big data challenges, and fostering seamless communication and collaboration with IT teams, preferably in Fintech or Ecommerce
  • Proven experience -+2 years- as a Product Owner or similar, preferably within the finance or accounting industry or any other SaaS products, is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of financial close and reconciliation processes, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience working in Agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer value.
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • Bilingüal -Spanish, English or Portuguese- is desirable
