Description

Beauty Industry Group is currently on the hunt for a dynamic Cosmetology School Business Development Representative to join our team. This roll is key to sourcing and engaging key cosmetology schools regarding our leading professional products. If you love building relationships, creating meaningful partnerships, and helping cosmetology schools elevate their programs, this role is tailor-made for you!  


Location: This is a fully remote role within the United States

Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 base

Bonus: 20% quarterly bonus eligibility

 

Responsibilities: 


Lead the Charge 

  • Use your sales expertise to proactively engage cosmetology schools through cold calling, prospecting, and lead development. 
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline, turning prospects into enthusiastic program partners. 

Make a Difference 

  • Partner with schools to understand their unique needs and challenges, crafting solutions that drive success and growth. 

Drive Results 

  • Expect to hit monthly and annual targets, focusing on consistent outreach via phone calls, emails, SMS and virtual connections. 
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a seamless partnership experience. 

Represent BIG 

  • Travel occasionally to connect with prospects at industry events, shows, and in-person meetings with key decision-makers 

What Success Looks Like 

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual targets for outreach, pipeline growth, and closed deals. 
  • Build strong relationships with prospective schools and key internal teams, like Education, to ensure seamless collaboration and success. 
Requirements

 

  • An enthusiastic sales professional with 3+ years of proven successbut not retail sales! We're looking for someone with experience in business-to-business sales or similar fields. 
  • Professional beauty industry experience would be preferred 
  • A self-starter with exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills who can confidently own their day. 
  • Someone who thrives in a desk-based role, driving meaningful results through phone and digital communication but comfortable with some travel 
  • A skilled communicator and negotiator who can captivate audiences, demonstrate value, and close deals with ease
