Job description

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in the UK. As a Finance Manager,  your main focus will be to oversee the accounting for our operations in the UK, reporting to the Global Head of Business Partnering and working closely with the group finance team. 

 

This role is a perfect fit for someone who is organized, likes to get things done and gets energy from helping others. A successful Finance Manager will be focused on producing accurate timely financial information and ensuring the appropriate level of governance is being applied. You should have experience from a previous Accounting or Auditor role but, at Roboyo, people are everything and it is just as important to have the right attitude.



Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Managing all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices and ensure compliance with Group
• Prepare and manage the key regional financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
• Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers
• Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting and be the point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
• Dealing with working capital management and production of monthly cash flow forecasts to group
• Assisting and/or authorising (country dependent) with the preparation and reporting of payroll, local taxes and filings required by local authorities
• Responsible for the migration of bookkeeping from external accountants to an internal finance team using group finance software / use of group accounting software in line with group guidelines
• Be the regional finance lead on helping implement group finance software and further new applications where necessary
• Partner with the regional CBO and Head of BP to provide timely financial information for both business as usual activity and initiatives to help commercial growth
• Managing a finance team with different levels of experience and ensuring that they have opportunities for development
• Other ad hoc tasks to support other members of the Global Finance & Operations team

Requirements

• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Detail and accuracy focused
• Experience of leading the month end close and running an annual audit
• Experience of Excel and modelling
• Ability to delegate and manage the work of others
• Experience of AP and AR
• Fully qualified accountant
• Can work with different stakeholders to achieve business objectives
• Willing to be directly involved in key operations to build the Finance function
• Previous experience with Dynamics 365 is of great value
