Job description

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to own our finance processes end-to-end and support the growth of our business operations team. As the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our organization. You will work closely with other senior leaders to drive financial strategy and operations.

This is a full-time, remote based role with a preference for candidates in Ontario.

Salary Range: 80-120k

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the finance department, overseeing day-to-day financial operations.
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate audits and work with external auditors as needed.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and growth.
Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation.

What You Bring to the Table:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
3-8 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong experience with financial reporting and compliance.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
