Job description

Role Overview: 

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to own our finance processes end-to-end and support the growth of our business operations team. As the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our organization. You will work closely with other senior leaders to drive financial strategy and operations.  

This is a full-time, remote based role with a preference for candidates in Ontario. 

Salary Range: 80-120k 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage the finance department, overseeing day-to-day financial operations.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate audits and work with external auditors as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and growth.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation. 

What You Bring to the Table: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • 3-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong experience with financial reporting and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
