Role Description:

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a critical role in building the sales pipeline while responding to inbound inquiries. This role requires you to communicate professionally, qualify leads, and support the sales pipeline by efficiently managing and categorizing leads.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Inbound Lead Management: Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries from email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other marketing channels, ensuring all communication is aligned with company standards.

  • Responsiveness & Turnaround Time (TAT): Meet specific response and follow-up timelines as outlined in training, ensuring timely and responsive interactions with all inquiries.

  • Lead Qualification & Handover: Adhere to established SOPs to evaluate and qualify potential clients based on their fundraising status and business needs. 

  • Client Relationship Building: Engage with prospects to understand their fundraising needs, qualify their level of interest, and establish connections that foster long-term client relationships.

  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead information in HubSpot, tracking the progression of leads through the pipeline and conducting regular follow-ups to schedule calls with the Business Development team.

  • Industry Knowledge Development: Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, investor requirements, and fundraising strategies to enhance client interactions and tailor communication effectively.

  • Collaboration & Strategy Optimization: Actively participate in team discussions with Sales and Marketing to refine outreach strategies, improve response rates, and optimize lead-to-call conversion processes.

  • Workload & Task Prioritization: Efficiently manage and prioritize tasks to meet and exceed sales targets while balancing multiple responsibilities.

  • Sales & Pipeline Metrics: Track and maintain monthly, and quarterly metrics to support overall sales goals and revenue targets, ensuring alignment with team objectives.

  • Strategic Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze weekly reports on lead generation and pipeline progression to identify areas for improvement and inform future strategies.



Requirements

We’re seeking driven and goal-oriented individuals who are eager to launch their careers in sales, excel in a dynamic environment, and make a meaningful impact. You’ll bring strong communication skills, organization, and a passion for helping startups:

  • Freshers or early-career (1-2yrs exp.) candidates with a strong interest in sales

  • Stellar English communication and listening skills with a positive, energetic phone presence

  • Highly organized with effective time management skills

  • Self-motivated with a diligent work ethic

  • Proficiency with CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho

  • Strong academic background and interest in the financial services/fintech sector

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Growth-oriented with a passion for learning and development in a dynamic sales environment
