Job Description

Supplier Quality Engineer Student

Your role:

  • Assist on Supplier On-Site assessment and auditing as part of the (new) supplier selection and approval process..
  • Manage the supplier capability assessment process as part of the supplier selection in subcontracting and outsourcing projects.
  • Identify possible gaps between required and available supplier capabilities and manage the risk with selected supplier during the project.
  • Own the formal release process for purchased products (PPA) in the project team including the handshake process with Manufacturing Engineering / Manufacturing Quality
  • Identify high risk and critical to quality suppliers and establish quality control approaches and supplier development plans with relevant suppliers assuring increasing supplier’s process maturity and outstanding product quality throughout the product life cycle

  • Student towards B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering\

    Industrial Engineering and Management

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of statistical methods, quality tools and methodologies
  • Approximately 1.5 years remaining until graduation

    Ability to communicate well, oral and written, in English and Hebrew.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 18 hours per week (not including Fridays)

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
