Summary of Job Duties:
The College of Health Professions (CHP) at UAMS seeks a qualified Instructor to teach AUDI 83353 Educational Audiology for the audiology program. This role involves educating graduate-level students in the principles and practices of educational audiology, focusing on effective service delivery in school settings. The instructor will design and deliver coursework that aligns with program standards, accreditation requirements, and current trends in the field.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Audiology or a related field.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Demonstrated expertise in educational audiology.
- Previous teaching experience in higher education preferred.
- Clinical experience in audiology is a plus.
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
- Teach and develop content for AUDI 83353 Educational Audiology, including designing syllabi, lectures, and assignments that meet course objectives.
- Provide mentorship and support for students pursuing audiology degrees.
