Software Developer III (Java/Python)

Join us as a Software Developer III (Java/Python) in Canada. This is a full-time role with remote work options, available to candidates based in Canada.

Role Overview:

As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in a project for one of our Fortune 500 clients. We are seeking a candidate with at least 6 years of hands-on software development experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, and Python, and experience working with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Use Java and Python to develop scalable and efficient applications.
• Design and implement microservices and RESTful web services for seamless integration.
• Leverage AWS cloud services to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD practices, utilizing tools like Jenkins to integrate with GitHub and Artifactory.
• Demonstrate expertise in server programming, databases, SQL queries, and cloud architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 6 years of solid software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices and RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Serverless.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services.
