Position Overview:
The Solar Construction Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing all aspects of construction & staff for solar projects to ensure successful completion on time, on budget, and with a high level of customer satisfaction. The PM will manage relationships with sub-contractors and will provide detailed status reports to management.
Requirements
Must Have Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager or Superintendent w/ a Solar EPC/Installation firm working on commercial or multifamily projects.
- Ability to manage and bring to successful completion multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of PV & energy storage system design, site selection, construction, and commissioning processes.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, etc.)
- Prior experience with project management software, ideally smart sheet.
- Possess a general understanding of solar and battery incentive programs.
Location: Remote in the U.S.A. (close to a major airport)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field

Compensation: $100K + Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with contractors and internal support staff to efficiently complete Solar installation projects – both rooftop and larger ground mount.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining on-time schedule, budget, and quality requirements, for all projects.
- Maintaining regular communications with clients and contractors to address concerns and provide status updates.
- Traveling to jobsites to ensure project starts, progresses, and is completed per contractual obligations.
- Providing direct assistance to internal staff for coordination, planning, scheduling, subcontracting, and scope clarifications.
- Providing regular status reports to ICAST Management.
Initial Goals:
- Complete ICAST onboarding process within 1 week of start date and training program within 30 days of start.
- Assume the Solar Project Manager role for existing and new projects within 30 days of start date.
