Job description

Role Overview

Reporting to the Oregon Executive Director, the Compliance Reporting Manager will be responsible for ensuring the development, accuracy, and timely submission of all necessary reports to ensure CAA meets the compliance obligations for reporting and information disclosure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and complete submission of quarterly and annual reports to DEQ to meet statutory and regulatory reporting requirements for CAA.
  • Oversee the process of required data sharing with DEQ on reported supply volumes, and disposition of recycled materials. Manage data that is received from DEQ that feeds into reimbursement models.
  • Work with managers overseeing the management of USCL and PRO materials to ensure key KPI and metrics are set, data accuracy, and develop insights for program or reporting improvement based on data results. 
  • Ensure all data on responsible end markets is up to date and accurately reflected in reporting and data sharing with DEQ. 
  • Prepare all formal reporting submissions to DEQ according to the schedules defined in statute and regulation. 
  • Work with IT team to ensure systems are capturing and outputting data from parties receiving funding from CAA.
  • Report information metrics and KPIs to internal teams at the state and national levels
  • Contribute to development of program plan amendments and updates program plan submission. Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Engage with local governments, haulers and collection points, as needed to ensure accurate data capture and reporting for compliance working with to prepare for USCL transitions.

  • Knowledge of Workday financial systems for reporting · Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Visio, and Monday.com.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, problem solving, planning, and execution skills.
  • Effective communications skills which can build relationships with communities, internal CAA teams and at all levels in the CAA organizational structure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field required
  • At least five years of related experience required
  • Experience leading program innovation or start-ups preferred

 

Physical Requirements

  • Includes some travel withing Oregon
  • Must reside in Oregon or Southwest Washington

Compensation & Other Information

  • Location: Initially Fully Remote within Oregon
  • Pay Rate: Salary Range based on experience
  • Reports To: Oregon Executive Director
