Job description

This is a remote position.

As the complexity of our clients software solutions increases, and the profile of their customers shifts towards the mid-market, our client requires additional resources to consult with customers, understand their unique requirements, and help them deploy thier software effectively, integrating it with their financial systems.

 

The Solutions Architect bridges the gap between sales and support. As customer requirements become more complex and sophisticated, They need someone who can understand those requirements and design and deliver implementations accordingly. This individual should work independently and have a clear understanding of:

 

How the clients software works

 

The customer’s Accounts Payable (AP) process and how it will adapt to our solution

The finance system(s) used by the customer

The mappings between the customer’s finance system and our software

The workings of any proprietary tools or synchronization utilities provided with our software

How modern cloud-based financial systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Business Central) function

 

 


Requirements

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

 

Pre-sales: Attend product demonstrations as a pre-sales consultant, identifying potential challenges or complex mapping and workflow scenarios.

Complex Support Requirements: Address and resolve advanced technical issues, such as troubleshooting synchronization tools or integrations with on-premise systems.

Implementation: Collaborate with onboarding teams to manage setup and design tasks involving premium integrations with cloud or on-premise finance systems.

Customer Migrations: Work with existing customers on system migrations or upgrades.

Post-Installation Troubleshooting: Act as the technical lead to resolve issues, analyze lessons learned, and help guide customers toward successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess:

 

Strong IT knowledge, including expertise in servers, SQL, Windows, and remote access tools like TeamViewer.

A solid understanding of finance team operations and processes.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand, and convey technical concepts convincingly and confidently.

An innovative mindset, with a strong ability to think outside the box and solve complex problems.

A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
