This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with during normal business hours CST, 20 hours a week

Job Description

As a Social Media Community Engagement Specialist, you’ll be the digital voice and ears of an exciting sustainable luxury jewelry brand. Your role is crucial in building and nurturing an engaged online community around the brand’s unique offerings. You’ll dive into the world of lab-grown gemstones, connecting with jewelry enthusiasts, sustainability advocates, and potential customers across various social media platforms. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the online presence of a growing brand, fostering meaningful connections in the digital realm while promoting sustainable luxury.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead community outreach and engagement strategies across key social media platforms
  • Identify and interact with relevant content creators and influencers in the sustainable luxury and jewelry niches
  • Actively engage with the target audience through comments, likes, and meaningful interactions
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential customers and industry figures
  • Scout for and curate content that aligns with the brand’s values and resonates with the target audience
  • Implement and refine engagement tactics to grow the brand’s online community
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on engagement metrics and community growth trends
Requirements
  • Proven track record in social media community management or digital engagement roles
  • In-depth understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to adapt tone and messaging to align with brand guidelines
  • Passion for or knowledge of sustainable luxury, jewelry, or related fields
  • Self-motivated with strong independent work ethic in a remote setting
  • Available to commit 20 hours per week, with potential for increased hours
  • Enthusiasm for staying updated on social media trends and sustainable luxury developments
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport in digital spaces
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools
