Summary of Job Duties:
The Institute of Community Health Innovation is seeking a dynamic and versatile Community Engagement Program Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving engagement for our community health programs in South Arkansas while supporting our outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of community-based organizations, and a knack for creating compelling outreach materials.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • Four (4) years of project/program management, community engagement, marketing, or a related field.

​Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with community-based organizations and understanding of South Arkansas communities.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for community health and a commitment to making a positive impact in underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement:

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage community members and stakeholders in South Arkansas.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local community-based organizations, leaders, and partners.
  • Coordinate and facilitate community meetings, workshops, and events to promote program participation and gather feedback.
  • Act as a liaison between the Institute and the community to ensure that program goals are aligned with local needs.

Outreach Communications:

  • Assist in the creation and execution of health education and outreach campaigns to promote community health programs and initiatives.
  • Write and edit content that will be used for various platforms reaching the target communities. 
  • Design and produce outreach materials that effectively communicate program objectives and impact.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of outreach and health promotion efforts and adjust strategies as needed.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the Northwest Arkansas team to align engagement strategies with overall organizational goals.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on community engagement activities and marketing performance.
  • Support the development of program materials and presentations for internal and external audiences.

Program Support:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of community health programs, including logistics and coordination.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from community members to inform program improvements and adaptations.
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in community engagement and health promotion.
