POSITION SUMMARY:

Our client is looking for a Data Center Stakeholder & Community Engagement Manager for a 100% remote role.

 

As the Community Manager for Ara: History Untold, you’ll be the bridge between our passionate player community and our development team. Your primary responsibility is to foster an engaged, positive, and inclusive community across our forums, social channels, and other digital platforms. You will shape the community’s voice, track sentiment and feedback, lead a team of volunteer moderators, and develop a community strategy that keeps players excited, informed, and involved in the world of Ara: History Untold

Responsibilities:

Community Engagement & Moderation:

  • Actively participate in community discussions across forums, social media, and official channels, representing Ara: History Untold and fostering a positive environment.
  • Collaborate with and manage a team of volunteer moderators to ensure community guidelines are upheld, addressing issues promptly and respectfully.
  • Organize community events, AMAs, and contests to engage and reward players.

Sentiment Analysis & Feedback Tracking:

  • Regularly monitor community sentiment across platforms, synthesizing key takeaways, recurring themes, and areas of opportunity.
  • Report insights and actionable feedback to internal teams, working closely with game development, marketing, and support to address community needs and questions.
  • Utilize community metrics to track engagement, sentiment changes, and the impact of community initiatives over time.

Community Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive community strategy, focusing on fostering loyalty, growing community engagement, and nurturing a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
  • Identify opportunities for unique community content, including guides, developer diaries, and fan spotlights to enrich the player experience.
  • Implement and evolve a community roadmap that aligns with game updates, marketing campaigns, and other key moments in Ara: History Untold’s lifecycle.

Crisis & Reputation Management:

  • Serve as the community's voice in crisis situations, handling issues with professionalism and empathy, and ensuring timely, transparent communication with players.
  • Manage escalation protocols for player issues, coordinating with internal stakeholders to address critical concerns effectively.

Content & Communication:

  • Create and schedule community updates, patch notes, and announcements, ensuring they are clear, engaging, and aligned with the game’s tone.
  • Work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure that all communication reflects the brand voice and values.
Qualifications:
  • Must have 3+ years in a community management role within the gaming industry or a related field.
  • Must have 2-4 years of experience with managing a sentiment reporting tool like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Google Analytics.
  • Must have 2-4 years of experience with web forum software such as Discourse or backend software like WordPress.
  • Must have 2-4 years of experience with interacting with communities, managing sentiment, and organizing moderators.
  • Should have experience managing community platforms (forums, Discord, social media) and utilizing tools for sentiment tracking and analytics.
  • Should have background in working with moderator teams or volunteer management.
  • Should have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand effectively across different platforms.
  • Should be proficient with social media and community management tools; familiarity with sentiment analysis platforms is a plus.

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with Ara: History Untold and the history/strategy gaming genre.
  • Experience with content creation, such as streaming, video editing, or blogging.
  • Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.

  • A competitive pay range of $45/hr- $47/hr (depending on experience).
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Position location: Remote 
  • 9 paid holidays per year (which includes 1 personal floating holiday).
