What will you do?
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap Development
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the cloud-based biomedical data analytics platform.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in multi-omics, real-world evidence (RWE), and biopharma analytics to maintain the platform's competitive edge.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and the broader business strategy.
2. Market & User Research
- Conduct in-depth market research and user interviews to understand customer pain points, needs, and workflows within the biopharma and healthcare sectors.
- Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies in biomedical data processing and analytics.
3. Requirements Gathering & Prioritization
- Translate market and customer requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and user stories for the engineering team.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, customer feedback, and technical feasibility.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, data science, and UX/UI teams to deliver solutions that are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive product adoption and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with regulatory and legal teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations.
5. Product Development & Launch
- Oversee the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and updates.
- Plan and execute product launches, including messaging, positioning, and training for internal teams.
6. Performance Monitoring & Iteration
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the platform's success.
- Continuously gather user feedback and iterate on the product to improve performance, usability, and satisfaction.
What do you bring to the table?
· Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or PhD) in Life Sciences, Data Science, or Business is highly desirable.
· Professional Experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, or software platforms.
- Proven track record of managing cloud-based software products or data platforms.
- Familiarity with multi-omics data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics) and real-world clinical data applications.
- Experience working in or with biopharma companies, clinical research organizations, or healthcare providers.
· Domain Expertise
- Bioinformatics workflows in CWL or Nextflow
- Enterprise data management / knowledge management
- Multi-omic data analytics
- Biomedical data ingestion, harmonization
- No-code data visualization / analytics
- Clinical study design
· Technical Skills
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data analytics technologies.
- Knowledge of data integration, ETL pipelines, and AI/ML techniques applied to biomedical datasets is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like HIPAA, GDPR, and GxP for data security and privacy.

- Exceptional communication and storytelling ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
- Ability to influence and build relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
