We’re currently looking for a Education Relationships Lead on a full time permanent basis. This position sits within the America’s Relationships team who manage the Americas (USA, Canada, Caribbean, and LATAM) Region. We will consider candidates that are based in either Canada or Trinidad & Tobago and can support remote working.

The ideal candidate will have strong connections and a proven track record of successful projects within the education sector across this diverse region.

This role is ideal for professionals with deep market insight and the ability to build strategic partnerships. Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is a highly valuable asset.

The Job

Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Americas, on a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • Strategic Partnership Leadership: Leads the development and execution of education partnership strategies, focusing on growth opportunities, market prioritization, and mutual value propositions to achieve KPIs aligned with ACCA’s global objectives
  • Recognition Optimization: Identifies key opportunities for ACCA recognition and business development within education frameworks, while actively monitoring and driving partnership performance to meet business goals across markets
  • Ecosystem Optimization & Market Positioning: Collaborates with internal teams, regulators, and education bodies to align global solutions, ensure qualification readiness, and strengthen ACCA’s reputation through high-value connections and support for local qualifications
  • Strategic Leadership & Growth: Drives key education relationships (learning partners, universities, national bodies and education regulators), leading multi-level relationship plans, and building a community of partners that enhance global value propositions, enabling growth and market insights
  • Reports regularly on progress through the appropriate reporting mechanisms on agreed KPIs and outcomes linked to the balanced scorecard

The Person

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrates a strong track record of establishing and growing valuable partnerships in the education sector across the Americas, including the USA, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America
  • The ideal candidate will excel in fostering relationships that support and advance our strategic business objectives
  • Brings a deep knowledge of the education landscape and regulatory environment across the region, allowing them to identify growth opportunities and optimize market positioning
  • Familiarity with local qualifications and global education trends is a plus.
  • Excels in collaborating with diverse teams, engaging with key partners like regulators and educational institutions, and working alongside specialized colleagues, to drive ecosystem optimization and ensure the consistent implementation of global solutions
  • Counts with a Strong focus on achieving KPIs and outcomes, with the ability to monitor, report, and adjust strategies based on performance metrics and market feedback
  • Bring extensive experience in multicultural environments, with a strong ability to adapt and customize strategies for diverse markets throughout the Americas.
