Salary Range:
up to 1200 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)

About the Company:

A leading technology-driven land services provider for energy companies. Specializes in managing energy rights transactions, title determination, mineral ownership reports, and lease management, leveraging cutting-edge GIS mapping technology through our proprietary platform, Overdrive.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Landman to support project management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in property law with experience in title research, mineral rights, and ownership calculations. This role is critical to providing high-quality reports and maintaining accurate land records for clients, enabling successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Title Research: Conduct thorough research of county records to determine surface and mineral ownership using online databases.
  • Documentation: Analyze and document findings to create comprehensive reports for clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure research and documentation meet deadlines for internal and client needs.
  • Collaboration: Work independently and with teams to adapt to evolving business priorities.


Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in title or mineral research or related property law.
  • Familiarity with property rights and ownership research.
  • Advanced degree in Law (Juris Doctorate or equivalent) preferred, especially with relevant property law experience.
  • Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of energy or resource-based industries.
  • Experience supporting US-based teams in land or property management.
