Job Description

About the Team:
The Aftermarket Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining ZF as a preferred and reliable partner by managing all dimensions for assigned Aftermarket region/accounts. The focus is on continuously improving customer satisfaction and further enhancing the customer/supplier relationship through translation of the voice of the customer into the right customer strategy and serving as the central conduit for all customer related activities.  

This is a remote position requiring up to 50% to 75% travel, that supports a sales region covering the following:  Ontario, Quebec, the Maritimes, Newfoundland, and Labrador

***Candidates residing in Ontario or Quebec are strongly preferred

 
What you can look forward to as an Aftermarket Account Manager:  

•    Lead the request for quotation process for all customer requests 

•    Execute sales growth strategies

•    Ensure the organization is responsive to customer needs, expectations and requests and communicate these throughout our organization

•    Strengthen the account team fulfilling all internal and external expectations

•    Maintain product development strategies in the BU’s to fulfill customer and market needs

•    Initiate and implement campaigns, projects, and customer events as required

•    Support all negotiations with the customers, including contracts and promotional programs

•    Deliver premium service levels across the value chain from product development, through manufacturing, to delivery
 

Your Profile as an Aftermarket Account Manager: 

•    Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

•    6+ years of experience in technical/sales background, preferably in the heavy truck industry, automotive market, or Aftermarket sales 

•    Commercial Vehicle experience a huge plus 

•    English and French language skills required

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Outlook and Teams; Strong Excel skills required 

•    Deep understanding of the assigned region and/or customers 

•    Excellent presentation skills

•    Negotiation/Relationship management skills
