Role Summary:

This position focuses on providing support to internal CSBA team members by managing key administrative tasks, including research, email outreach, and tracking results for various email marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is expected to be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks.


Responsibilities:

  • Cold Email Campaigns: Research and organize contact lists for specific marketing campaigns (Appellate, Defense, Insurers, Contractors), and send approximately 1,100 individual direct cold emails per month on behalf of various team members. Ensure emails are personalized and professional.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Monitor responses to cold emails, and keep accurate records of email interactions and any necessary next steps such as updating contacts profiles and sending LinkedIn requests. Provide monthly reports on email performance and any trends that emerge.
  • Research Support: Conduct regular research to update and refine the contact lists (Appellate, Defense, Insurers, Contractors) to ensure accuracy and relevance. Work closely with other CSBA team members to identify new leads and outreach opportunities.
  • E-file Correspondence: Manage and file email correspondence for various CSBA team members, ensuring all emails including attachments are appropriately saved and labeled per CSBA standards.
  • General Administrative Tasks: Provide additional administrative support, such as document preparation, data entry, and more, based on team needs.
  • Knowledge: This position does not require any prior experience in surety, but it does require a college degree preferably in business.
  • Skills: Customer Service, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, follow-through, and organization. You will also need to be resourceful in finding solutions and be able to offer new ideas for the methods or processes being used in the position and/or company.
  • Effort: The position requires juggling multiple tasks, being efficient, and meeting important deadlines. It also requires good judgment in being able to prioritize tasks, determining how much time to spend on individual projects, and knowing when to ask for assistance from team members to meet deadlines.
  • Working Conditions: The position will generally be moderately paced and requires the ability to work independently once tasks/projects are assigned. There can be times of stress and a fast pace when juggling multiple deadlines. Overall, the environment at CSBA is highly team-oriented.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in business.
  • Competency with MS Office applications and Adobe PDF is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • Customer Service, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, follow-through, and organization.
  • Proven Experience in Lead Generation - Demonstrated success in identifying and developing qualified leads.
  • The position requires juggling multiple tasks, being efficient, and meeting important deadlines. It also requires good judgment in being able to prioritize tasks, determining how much time to spend on individual projects, and knowing when to ask for assistance from team members to meet deadlines.
  • Capable of managing complex tasks with precision and efficiency, while maintaining a proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • The position will generally be moderately paced and requires the ability to work independently once tasks/projects are assigned.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe PDF.
  • Quick learner with the ability to effectively use tools for research, email tracking, and data management.
  • Amenable to work for a graveyard shift (Pacific Standard Time).
