The Role:

As a Business Analyst – Sales, you will work closely with sales management to monitor and continuously improve the efficiency and quality of sales business systems, processes, and data.  Additionally, the Sales Operations Analyst is expected to make recommendations for change in sales process, incentives, strategy, and tactics based on analysis of sales performance and to own their implementation and adoption along with senior management.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Map, document, and continually improve processes to facilitate sales performance and predictability. 
  • Provide support and guidance on SFDC (and other critical tools and applications) that enable the sales team.  Support will include both technical use as well as business process questions.
  • Oversee reporting tools and manage ad-hoc reporting requests for the sales & marketing departments to analyze and monitor their performance at various levels.
  • Assist in the development of internal audits and controls to ensure integrity of business processes.
  • Provide cross-functional support and assist Sales management on projects as needed.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive sales performance.
  • Optimize the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) by supporting data integrity, user training, and system customization to support sales operations.
  • Document sales processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and knowledge sharing across the sales organization.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization to enhance sales operations efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Track and report on key sales performance metrics, including pipeline health, conversion rates, win/loss analysis, and sales rep productivity.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of Sales processes (terminology, methodology, forecasting, and CRM) 5 years
  • High level knowledge of Salesforce
  • High level knowledge of Microsoft Office products with extensive Microsoft Excel experience
  • Experience in SaaS and/or real estate industry a plus
