In this role as a Trade Sales Expert, you will be responsible in executing the local strategy and acting as support to the local sales teams in high coordination with Trade Sales Manager.

Here are some key responsibilities to look forward to
You will support the Trade Sales Manager in developing action plans and forecast / budgets for the trade segment
Add, develop and improve sales approach with trade partners sales staff
Add new valuable customers/trade partners to Hempel Trade Board, expand the network and cover more areas
Finding solutions and leads for trade partners for improving the trade business across the country
Ensures operational activities required for selling process are in control
Responsible for fulfilling the reactive customer needs on a daily basis
Coordinating with cross functions every day to ensure there are no operational challenges in relation to Supply chain (inventory/deliveries) and Finance (payments/ credit limits)/marketing activities, tinting jobs
The scope of the job will cover job tasks such as ensuring availability of sales tools in our shops. (marketing support – colour cards, collaterals, brochures)
Weekly planning and active frequent visits to trade shops
Implementing tasks related to shop openings
Handles customer enquiries in an effective manner
Use and seek opportunities as part of lead generation process
Support marketing teams in implementing activities/NS launches/Promotions, pricing, portfolio’s etc
Responsible for training and coaching the Trade Partner’s sales forces
Responsible to grow the Customer database of the Distributors in the assigned areas
Updating CRM on contacts /cases/activities
Training shop sales on Hempel Digital tools
Key Performance Indicators is a mix of both quantitative & qualitative aspects, these may include;
Meeting budgets in terms of revenue/volume/gross margins
Achieving strategic KPIs
The above KPI are for indicative purpose and subject to change as per management decision
The role will be based in Kuwait and this role reports into the Trade Sales Manager.
Furthermore, we expect that you have
Should hold Bachelor Degree
Minimum of 4 years experience in a Retail environment
Familiarity with Sales System, e.g. CRM
Superior problem solving skills
Ability to resolve operational challenges
Familiarity with different sales techniques
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, service oriented and customer focussed
Available to travel occasionally
