About the Role

FareHarbor is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to drive our vendor management and procurement processes. Reporting directly to the Global Finance Director, you will work closely with FP&A and Accounting to build and ensure efficient and compliant procurement processes tailored to FareHarbor’s needs.

As the primary procurement contact, you will manage vendor relationships, support negotiation efforts, streamline procurement operations, and oversee payment follow-ups. This hands-on role requires both strategic insight and attention to detail, as you’ll manage the end-to-end procurement process, set up requisitions, and communicate financial impacts to stakeholders.

What you’ll do here:

  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline vendor management and improve organizational support for procurement activities
  • Partner with FP&A and Accounting to manage costs in line with budget and proactively identify and communicate financial impacts to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement FareHarbor-specific procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Booking’s procurement policy
  • Create and manage procurement requisitions in Ivalua, setting up clear processes for FareHarbor employees to follow when procuring services
  • Track and follow up on payments, keeping stakeholders informed of payment statuses and maintaining strong vendor relationships
  • Manage the company credit card program, ensuring effective coordination with Booking 
  • Monitor contract renewals and lifecycle events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or cost control, with strong familiarity in negotiation and procurement processes
  • Proficiency in procurement systems (experience with Ivalua or similar tools preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain procurement details to non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing process improvements.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships and work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders

Salary Range: $88,000-$132,000, plus 10% bonus potential
