Job Description:
A Cybersecurity Engineer designs, implements and maintains an organization's security infrastructure. They are responsible for developing and executing comprehensive security strategies to protect against cyber threats. This role involves creating secure network architectures, implementing security tools, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with various IT teams to ensure robust security measures across all systems and applications.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security technologies
- Expertise in configuring and managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and SIEM systems
- Experience with cloud security architectures and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Knowledge of encryption technologies and public key infrastructure (PKI)
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools
- Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS)
- Ability to perform security architecture reviews and risk assessments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with incident response and forensics
Language Requirement:
Strong English language abilities at a minimum of EFSET C1 level
Required Certifications:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CompTIA Security+
Optional Certifications:
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
- Cloud security certifications (AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer)
