Job Description:
A Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures for cloud-based systems and infrastructure. This professional ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and applications in cloud environments. They work closely with development teams to integrate security throughout the cloud adoption and application development lifecycle.
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security architectures and best practices
- Proficiency in implementing and managing cloud-native security tools and services
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with identity and access management in cloud environments
- Knowledge of compliance standards relevant to cloud computing (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Ability to perform security assessments and risk analysis of cloud architectures
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Language Requirement:
Strong English language abilities at a minimum of EFSET C1 level
Required Certifications:
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
- CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
Optional Certifications:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CompTIA Cloud+
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
