We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager who expects more from their career. As a Business Development Manager in the Insight team at dunnhumby  you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and developing solutions that leverage dunnhumby’s insights into customer behaviour.

You will collaborate closely with dh’s internal analytics, media and insight client teams and externally with Tesco’s and it’s suppliers commercial, category management/trade marketing and marketing teams.

Apply for this business crucial role that combines sales, consulting and analytics to help clients make data-driven decisions, improve their category performance by focusing on their shoppers needs and expectations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Proactively indentify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and new clients. Develop a strong understanding of market trends and client needs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with senior decision makers, understand their strategic challenges and provide insight-driven solutions that deliver return on investment.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with the Insight team members and other departments to create solutions tailored to clients’ needs. Utilize dunnhumby’s solutions and insights to support clint growth strategies.
  • Sales Strategy and Executions: Develop and execute business development plans, creating proposals, negotiating contracts, closing deals.
  • Thought Leadership: Represents dunnhumby at conferences, promoting company’s customer insights.
  • Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to stay ahead of opportunities.
  • Performance tracking:  Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to business development strategies.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within data analytics
  • Strong understanding of customer insights, data analytics and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill, with the ability to influence and negotiate at a c-suite level.
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving attitude.
  • Experience working in a collaborative and cross functional environment.
  • Understanding of financial metrics related to business growth.
