Our client, a leading international chemical company, is expanding their team in Germany and is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to lead and grow their presence in the German market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, focusing on clients within industries that benefit from silane products, including automotive, construction, electronics, and specialty chemicals.
- Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue targets and expand market share within Germany.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of silane products and applications, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and ensuring a competitive edge in the market.
- Work closely with product development, marketing, and technical support teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and customer requirements.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the silane sector.
Requirements
- 5+ years in business development or sales within the chemical industry, with a proven track record in silane product sales being highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of silane chemistry and its applications in various industries.
- Fluency in German and English is essential for client interaction and internal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally as needed.
