Common Securitization Solutions (CSS) is seeking an experienced Crisis Management Program Lead to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

 

Job Information

The Crisis Management Program Lead is an individual contributor role accountable for the continued development, implementation, and maintenance of CSS’s crisis management program.  This role is responsible for the organization’s ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from crisis events which threaten the wellbeing of CSS staff or the continued operations and delivery of services for our customers.  Aspects of this role are customer facing requiring the individual filling it to represent CSS in a joint crisis response planning and governance team with our customers.  As a more experienced team member, this role is expected to be a key contributor leading and mentoring others in the business resiliency governance team and will share responsibility for common tasks required of the overall business resiliency program.  The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in developing and managing crisis management programs, planning and leading the execution of executive tabletop exercises, and will have a strong background in financial services.

 

Key Job Functions

 

  • Provide senior subject matter expertise and program leadership in enterprise Crisis Management.
  • Represent CSS as a lead and relationship manager within a tri-party Crisis Management planning and governance team that, along with the peer members from the GSEs, is responsible for carrying out various cross-functional initiatives at the request of the regulator throughout the year.
  • Lead annual planning and execution to tabletop test CSS’s Crisis Management plan and function.
  • Establish or evolve appropriate systems, resources, and communication protocols to support the management of, and response to, crisis events by the Crisis Management Team.
  • Review post-crisis actions and evaluate performance and processes to determine how well the Crisis Management Plan was executed and update the methodology and crisis management plan and processes where possible.
  • Oversee annual reviews of the Crisis Management Plan with CSS’s Executive Risk Committee and incorporate any feedback into subsequent updates to the plan as needed.
  • As needed develop and deliver education, training and awareness programs for CSS staff to ensure readiness in a crisis event.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of tests to exercise resiliency plans for CSS’s critical business functions.
  • Participate in conducting scheduled or ad-hod business impact assessments for all  of CSS business areas.
  • Participate in due diligence assessments of CSS’s supplier/vendor resiliency capabilities.
  • Participate in support of third party or internal audits or examinations of CSS resiliency program.
  • Provide support and guidance to business and technology teams to ensure resilience activities are understood and executed.
  • Develop team members and provide ongoing professional guidance and direction to team members as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education   

  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters’ degree preferred or equivalent experience

 

Minimum Experience  

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, with demonstrable involvement in leading crisis management programs, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. CSS does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.

 

Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

  • Industry recognized professional training/exercise certifications in Crisis Management and/or contingency planning would be an advantage.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills and display an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading/facilitating tabletop exercises with senior executives in large scale enterprises.
  • Ability to work in an individual contributor role as a senior member of a team supporting other team members through mentorship and development.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, matrix environment.

Pay Range $132,000 to $156,500

CSS’s pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.  CSS offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
