Job description

We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented, business-minded professional with creativity, initiative and project management skills to support our crisis, security and cyber consulting teams.

This position is for a fee-earning consultant who will support clients and other team members across a broad range of risk management projects, with a particular focus on business continuity, crisis management, cyber security, emergency response, disaster recovery and insider risk capability strategy, design, assessment, improvement and implementation

Tasks and responsibilities

Work as a member of consulting project teams, with guidance from senior team members, to assist with business development activities and deliver business continuity, crisis management, emergency response, product recall, and insider risk solutions, including:

  • Supporting projects as a fee-earning consultant (e.g., assessing program maturity, conducting risk assessments, developing crisis management exercises, supporting business continuity reviews)
  • Working with clients (e.g., educating client staff, presenting findings, working with client teams at all levels to implement solutions)
  • Scoping and writing proposals for client engagements
  • Co-authoring thought leadership and conducting research

Requirements

  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently
  • At least two years of work experience in a professional environment
  • Ability to produce and deliver well-crafted deliverables for clients
  • Strong Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, creative and analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance competing requirements
  • Understanding of basic risk management principles
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to undertake frequent, short trips as needed, with travel ranging up to 70%
  • At least two years of work experience in business continuity or crisis management preferred
  • Prior consulting experience preferred
  • Eagerness to learn new skills, ability to quickly learn and develop proficiency in new technical tools
  • Master’s degree and/or relevant industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, ABCP) preferred
  • Spanish or Portuguese proficiency (both written and spoken) preferred

The base salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
