Job Description:

The Software Product Manager at SafeRide Health will play a critical role in developing and executing product strategies for our healthcare transportation solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, operations, and customer success, to identify, prioritize, and deliver products that meet our customers' needs and drive SafeRide Health’s mission forward. This role is ideal for a product manager who is passionate about using technology to solve complex problems in healthcare and is experienced in agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and user-centered design.

 

  • Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to design and implement new product features, ensuring a high-quality user experience and seamless integration with our technology stack.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across the company to gather feedback, understand pain points, and prioritize product features that align with SafeRide Health’s mission.
  • User-Centric Design: Develop user stories, product requirements, and use cases that drive software design with a deep understanding of the user journey and requirements for healthcare transportation.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including planning releases, setting success metrics, and conducting post-launch evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Agile Methodology: Lead sprint planning for your projects, manage the product backlog, and work with the engineering team to prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to make informed decisions, monitor product performance, and measure impact on key business metrics.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure all products adhere to regulatory and compliance standards in healthcare, including HIPAA, and collaborate with legal and compliance teams as needed.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B software product management, preferably within the healthcare, transportation, or
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering successful software products using agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience translating user needs into product requirements and that align with business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, Lucid) and data analytics tools such as Mixpanel.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare-related compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with a strong commitment to improving healthcare access.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with alacrity and a sense of urgency
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Experience in healthcare transportation or patient care industry.
  • Familiarity with data integration, APIs, and complex software platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
