Job Description

This role is a key position within the NA Site Management team for the delivery of process innovation, training, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple projects. It plays a critical role in providing real-time inventory control information for each of the projects to be able to manage the flow of internal and 3rd party materials such that the project can execute per the baseline schedule.

Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
  • Supports PWH (Project Warehouse Management) management by making regular trip to our distribution Warehouse to actively find, organize, and coordinate loading of materials.
  • Monitors and supports root cause solutions of issues entered in Quality Control application for each project.
  • Meets business’s warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse operational improvements.
  • Meets safety goals by ensuring 100% compliance with company Safety Program.
  • Meets warehouse financial standards by monitoring operational best practices and maintaining efficiency. Supports project warehouse audits with planning and execution.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, stays actively involved with internal focus team to manage development and training material.
  • Supports project warehouse new hires thru orienting, training, coaching, monitoring job performance thru digital applications, and adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Provides bi-weekly report on inventory control status for each active project.
  • Creation of standardized metrics/processes for all warehouse and site teams ensuring one way of working that creates a more fluent enterprise practice.
  • Supports the organization as a subject matter expert on Global Supply Network systems and processes.
  • Supports project warehouse audit processes.
  • Able to manage up to 10 direct reports working in remote positions.

 Required Education and Experience:

  • 4+ years as a supervisor in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Proficient with all MS office programs, including Power BI
  • Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
  • Experienced analyzing data in real time to identify gaps

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working JD Edwards ERP system
  • Experience with Appshare
  • Experience writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Weekend and Holiday work will vary depending on business needs.

Travel: Ability to travel on short notice and spend up to 40% of the time traveling. Based in Atlanta, GA.
