WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s BI platform. This individual leads a team, provides production support, drives new development initiatives, and ensures technical excellence across the BI landscape. This role requires a candidate who is adaptable, open to exploring new technologies and possesses a blend of knowledge in Power BI and AWS. In addition, this role requires a candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with key stakeholders, including senior management and daily operational teams.
- Technical ownership * [35%]
- Oversee the entire BI toolset including PowerBI, ETL, and data warehouse technologies.
- Drive best practices in software development life cycle (SDLC) for BI projects. Serve as Scrum Master for the team.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues related to BI tools.
- Responsible for data warehouse capabilities, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and transformation of data.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address data quality, performance, and availability concerns.
- Ensuring data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting systems are properly monitored to maintain high reliability.

- Provide leadership for the design, development, and implementation of new BI solutions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience in the field will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstratable experience in leading and/or managing a team.
- Proficiency in Power BI
- Provide direction and mentorship to team members and other QBP stakeholders who are responsible for creating and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports and visualizations;
- ensure data models and queries are optimized for performance.
- 10 years combined SQL, database design, Business Intelligence/ETL platform tools.
- 5-7 years practical experience in ERP technologies, SAP preferred.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification in Power BI or AWS
- Advanced degrees associated with Data Intelligence, Data Science or Business
- Familiarity with AWS
- Working knowledge of AWS services (Redshift, S3, Glue) for data storage, processing, and analytics.
