Remote Senior Data Engineer

We are currently searching for a Senior Data Engineer:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and operationalize data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms.
• Implement cloud-based data solutions using GCP suite and other Big Data tools.
• Develop software and handle large-scale data architecture using Java, Python, and SQL.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployment and testing through CI/CD pipelines.
• Communicate effectively across teams, presenting ideas and solutions clearly.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in software design and development.
• 5+ years in data engineering.
• 3+ years in GCP data tools like BigQuery, PubSub, DataFlow/Apache Beam.
• Strong experience with Java, Python, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based Big Data solutions (GCP, AWS, etc.).

Desired:

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• GCP experience is a big plus.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.
