A Billing System Analyst plays a key role in delivering quality, on-time billing reports and invoices to our customer base. CSG’s Managed Service solution consists of processing and support services coupled with required production system duties. The role is a comprised of a mixture of IT software and billing responsibilities and provides a good space for development of customer communication, problem solving and IT analytics.

We are looking for a Billing Systems Analyst who will:

  • Support Managed Service customers
  • 1st level of escalation for production incidents requiring sound problem solving and time management skills
  • Responsible for billing schedules and procedures, processing and analyzing data
  • Monthly activities scheduling with internal and external teams.
  • Billing Software use
  • Bill cycle file processing, monitoring and resolution of issues
  • Producing and analyzing billing reports while independently interacting with the Managed Service customers
  • Maintain customer data in oracle database

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

  • Education: College degree or equivalent in Information Technology related field is preferred
  • ITIL accreditation will be an advantage
  • 2-3 years of work experience in telephony wholesale or retail billing
  • Able to communicate in English (Advanced), Spanish (Advanced) and one additional language is preferred (Portuguese)
  • Linux knowledge
  • Computer savvy and proficient knowledge of Word and Excel programs
  • SQL skills are advantageous
  • Perl knowledge is a plus
  • Solid working knowledge of telephony definitions, industry terms and technologies
  • Good working knowledge of customer requirements
