Dental Billing Operations Manager (Pooling)

Job Description:

• Manage a team of Dental Billing Specialists and Dental Insurance Eligibility Verifiers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Monitor individual and team performance.
• Oversee the complete cycle of dental billing processes, including insurance verification, claim submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and ensure team is proactively following up on overdue accounts to facilitate timely payment
• Drive the successful performance of the dental team through key metrics, clear accountability, and continuous improvement around the invoicing and collection functions. Ensure proper reporting and KPIs are established, measured, and managed.
• Oversee the hiring, orienting, and training of new team members.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with other departments. Act in a leadership role while representing the interests of dental billing operations and the Dental Billing/Verifier Specialist team.
• Follow teams and/or clients proper procedures, policies, and methodologies as instructed.
• Strictly adhering and complying with the HIPAA policy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Medical, but not required).
• Consultancy basis minimum of 6 months consultancy contract.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in dental insurance verifying or billing, with 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong understanding of US dental insurance and practices
• Demonstrate experience establishing and analyzing key operational metrics
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manager multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work in shifting schedules, mostly night shift.
• Able to Work From Home, must have reliable internet connection.
