INTRODUCTION:

We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Director, Business Program Management.  In this role, you will oversee and manage strategic programs that drive the company's growth and success. This position requires a seasoned leader with a strong background in business strategy, program management, and SAAS solutions, capable of managing multiple interrelated projects within a broader business program

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Lead the overall planning, execution and delivery of key business programs. Align cross-functional teams to achieve the program’s strategic objectives and ensure that all components contribute to the company’s broader business goals
  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership and key stakeholders, maintaining continuous alignment on program priorities, timelines, risks, and opportunities.
  • Coordinate across multiple workstreams, ensuring integration points between projects are effectively managed to minimize risks and bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with the CBO and senior leaders to prioritize program components, manage resource constraints, and ensure timely decision-making to drive successful program outcomes.
  • Provide comprehensive oversight of program milestones, ensuring accountability at every level. Oversee the delivery of all workstreams to meet program goals, while keeping stakeholders informed of any shifts in scope, timeline, or budget.
  • Act as a change agent by implementing best practices in change management and driving continuous improvement across all program initiatives, fostering alignment with broader organizational transformation efforts.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring timely communication of challenges, changes, and program progress to senior leadership. Keep all relevant parties informed of critical issues and updates.
  • Establish and maintain program management office (PMO) standards and governance, ensuring effective program tracking, reporting, and adherence to business objectives.
  • Provide regular program status reports, metrics, and outcomes to senior leadership. Maintain transparency and ensure all relevant KPIs are tracked and communicated clearly.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Program Management, or a related field; MBA is highly preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in program management within the SaaS industry, with a proven track record of managing large, complex programs involving multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Consultancy background with a demonstrated ability to engage and advise senior-level stakeholders, translating business needs into strategic program initiatives
  • PMP or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Experience and familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and lead through influence.
  • Proven ability to execute strategic business programs and align resources to achieve long-term goals.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in Canada and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for Canada based candidates for this position is $185,000 -- $251,000 CAD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
