We are seeking an experienced Supply Planner who will be responsible for managing the Supply Chain planning process and leading remote teams across multiple plants, driving change in a dynamic environment.
About The Role: Supply Planner
Responsibilities:
· Manages the Supply Chain planning process, including aligning the various supply chain plans and managing information to have a structured planning process in place.
· Coordinates periodic supply planning calls/meetings (organize, invite, minute and action plan tracking, etc.); actively participates in Supply Chain development aligned with Nutreco standards.
· Manages purchasing of materials to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost. Planning of the volumes per raw material.
· Manages the long-term capacity planning in close cooperation with Demand Planning, Purchasing and Operations management to support the long-term business planning.
· Leading and further shaping the monthly planning meeting, in which the input from sales & marketing is discussed beforehand
· Timely informing of the organization when stock levels, outbound deliveries and/or customer service are at risk
· The preparation and monitoring of the KPIs: OTIF, Rough Capacity Planning, stocks levels.
· Participating in various projects with the aim of improving the planning process.
· Oversees and reviews the development and third-party execution against performance metrics and assure timely improvements to operational performance and productivity, as well as communication of planning information to internal and external functional departments.
· Assessing inventory levels at the factories given the capacity and raw material plan for the coming period (next 15 months).
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Supply Chain.
· Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, preferably within the animal feed industry or any other industry such as FMCG.
· Expert in MRP and with in other supply chain functions (Customer Service, Logistics, Production Planning, Demand Planning, etc.).
· Skilled in collaborating with the procurement department and suppliers to optimize delivery logistics.
· Analytical profile, with advanced expertise in systems and strong proficiency in Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
