Job description

DIRECTV is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Benefits Partner to join our dynamic team. This senior-level position requires expertise in either Savings and Retirement or Health and Wellness programs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our benefits function, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality benefits programs to our employees. Here's What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and analyze benefits programs at DIRECTV with a strong focus on claims analysis to inform benefits design strategy.
  • Serve as an expert in either Savings and Retirement or Health and Wellness programs.
  • Provide administrative support to help manage the benefits function.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of claims data to inform benefits design strategy.
  • Use analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in benefits programs.
  • Develop and present recommendations for benefits design based on claims analysis findings.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to implement strategic changes to benefits programs.
  • Stay current with market trends and best practices in benefits design and analysis.
  • Manage one or more vendors and handle escalated client issues for resolution.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of benefits vendors based on claims data and performance metrics.
  • Support the development of benefits communications and educational materials for employees.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on claims analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to employee benefits.
  • Experience with benefits administration systems and data management.
  • May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $96,140 - $174,570

Low (N1): $96,140 - $144,210

Mid (N2): $101,200 - $151,800

High (N3): $111,320 - $166,980

Top (N4): $116,380 - $174,570
