Why we need you!
Reporting into the Sales Director Germany, this role is responsible for building and executing against pipeline for Ivanti’s solutions within an Enterprise customer base across Germany. To add to the existing DACH team, we are looking for Senior Account Managers who will be responsible for a specific territory of new and existing customers. Ideal candidates will have a minimum 5 years of software sales experience working both directly and with the channel, and will be able to demonstrate a consistent track record of strong sales performance and acquired skills.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Navigating customers’ organisations to identify and nurture high-influence contacts
- Build and maintain effective relationships with these individuals
- Construct and maintain Account Plans for use within internal, virtual teams
- Develop contact networks to uncover new projects in the customer base of relevance to Ivanti
- Develop pipeline within the chosen territory and execute qualified strategies to close revenue
- Maintain accurate and timely analysis for the wider business concerning forecasts, pipeline and specific campaigns
- Liaison and co-ordination with other members of the virtual team to effectively prioritise customer engagements
- Apply all of the above to exceeding sales targets
In 30 days, you will:
- Get to know the internal systems and stakeholders in the different teams (Friends of Sales, Legal, Compliance Department, etc.)
- Understand your patch: What is the install base? Which products do they use already? Which new logos are under your responsibility?
- Understand the product: What are the capabilities and unique selling points of the Ivanti Neurons platform? What is the value add for our customers? What is Ivanti's elevator pitch?
In 60 days, you will:
- Doing passive shadow-coaching in customer situations with your colleagues.
- Getting facetime with customers and prospect in your patch.
- Develop an understanding of your patch: Which customers are on a buying journey? What is the current demand? Which opportunities do you have with your customers and prospects?
In 90 days, you will:
- Developing a healthy and accurate forecast.
- Developing a pipeline with the sales plays, which are working best for your patch.
- Start closing the first deals.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Solid software sales history and extensive experience in strategic selling
- Excellent presentation, time management and communication skills
- Ability to penetrate accounts at senior/executive level
- Ability to work as part of a team with Technical Consultants whilst maintaining a self-starter attitude
- Pronounced hunter mentality
- Understanding of the industry and the company's competitive position
