Save My Exams is a rapidly growing EdTech business on the lookout for an ambitious Product Marketing Manager to lead our product marketing efforts. This role is a critical part of our growth strategy, so if you’re interested in being at the beating heart of a dynamic scale-up, read on.

Reaching up to 2m monthly active users and with more than 110,000 paying members, all while being bootstrapped and profitable, we’re looking for a passionate product marketer to join our team (reporting to the Head of Marketing) and take our marketing efforts to the next level.

The Role

To love this role, here’s the type of person you are: 

  • You’ve been the first Product Marketer in an organisation or the first Product Marketer on a core, high-value feature, and are capable of both strategy and execution   
  • You have experience developing and leading go-to-market strategies and coordinating new feature & product launches 
  • You’ve worked on various parts of the funnel and have a strong understanding of product-led growth metrics including acquisition, activation, engagement, retention & referral 
  • You’re comfortable writing copy with a strong focus on delivering value for our customers 
  • You can conduct quantitative and qualitative  research to mine insights to guide product and marketing decisions 
  • You enjoy working in a small but dynamic company, with the ambiguity, pace and opportunity that comes along with it

Your Responsibilities

As our first PMM, you will: 

  • Drive adoption of new features & products 
    • Lead GTM research, strategy and coordination 
    • Collaborate with Product teams to understand and communicate the value of new features and products
    • Educate internal and external stakeholders about product capabilities through clear, compelling storytelling
  • Develop and execute conversion strategies
    • Craft and implement strategies to optimise the customer journey and increase conversion rates across the funnel
    • Identify key user segments and develop tailored marketing campaigns to drive engagement and adoption.
    • Write compelling copy to drive conversion 
  • Leverage data-driven insights 
    • Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to uncover trends, opportunities, and insights to inform product and marketing decisions
    • Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to conversion and adoption, such as activation rates, feature utilisation, and revenue contribution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally  
    • Partner with Product, Marketing, Data, Customer Support and Content teams to align on priorities and deliver cohesive campaigns
    • Act as the voice of the customer by integrating user feedback into product roadmaps and marketing strategies
  • Manage stakeholders 
    • Ensure alignment between stakeholders by clearly communicating progress, challenges, and successes
    • Mentor junior team members as the team scales and the role grows in scope

Requirements

Hopefully, you’ll have some or all of the following:

  • 4+ years of experience working in product marketing for a B2C technology business 
  • Willing to get your hands dirty while also working on strategy
  • Comfortable working in small cross-functional teams, working across Marketing, Product, Data, Customer Support and Content  
  • Motivated by being a key stakeholder in a small but rapidly growing business

  • Remote working: we’re UK based but you can work from your home or wherever you want. (Note - For this role we would expect you to be in London at least once a week)
