JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Undertake a range of general assembler duties within the manufacturing plant, including manual assembly of seat parts, stores duties, leather work, machine operations and preparing and painting of finished parts.
Assembles and/or installs various electrical and/or mechanical components where operation and sequence are specified by blueprints, wire lists, diagrams or previously established shop practices. 
Follow production build plan and team lead instructions.
Perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly, and has multiple skill level for assembly activities
Handle more complex equipment and machinery
Ability to perform quick failure analysis and propose actions to the team lead/supervisor
Give suggestions to supervisor/team lead on how to maximize production operation with focus on safety, quality and productivity.
Utilizes small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
Work with Manufacturing Support Team to achieve product on time delivery by ensuring attainment of daily and monthly production target.
Work with Quality Team to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with company systems and procedures to meet customer / international standards
Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Generally has 2-4 years’ related experience in assembly / production / manufacturing gained in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
At least 2 years technical or vocational course Graduate
Preferably with experience in manufacturing tools techniques (CI, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
A good communicator both verbal and written English language
Has the initiative in work and a good team player
Be flexible with regards to working hours, environment, and overtime
Have the ability to meet targets and deadlines
Willing to be on shifting schedule
