WHO WE ARE

Tealium is the most trusted and world’s largest independent customer data platform. Tealium connects customer data – spanning web, mobile, offline, and IoT devices — so brands can connect with their customers. Tealium’s turnkey integration ecosystem supports more than 1,300 client-side and server-side vendors and technologies, empowering brands to create a unified, real-time customer data infrastructure.

Tealium’s customer data solutions encompass tag management, an API hub, a customer data platform with machine learning and AI, and data management solutions that make customer data more valuable, actionable, and secure. Tealium has been a trusted provider of customer data solutions for more than a decade, and more than 850 top businesses worldwide including Microsoft, Hyatt, Gap, HSBC and Novartis rely on Tealium to power their customer data strategies.
Team Tealium works and lives across the U.S. and in nearly 20 countries across the world.  We are intentional about our culture, our investment in our team members and how we care and connect.
Tealium = Teal + Helium. Teal: a vibrant reflection that evokes authenticity, trustworthiness, reliability, open communication and clarity of thought.  Helium: we rise above, a kinetic force that elevates our customers’ and our experiences beyond all others.
We win together with respect and appreciation for the talents required of all positions and the people who contribute to each of these.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Join Tealium’s Product Operations team and lead the charge in shaping a data-driven culture across the company! We're on a mission to understand what drives our customers and which product improvements will make the biggest impact. We’re on the hunt for a Product Analyst who’s not just a numbers person but a strategic thinker, ready to dig deep into diverse data sources, uncover impactful insights, and guide our Product Managers (PMs) toward smart, game-changing decisions. You’ll be the go-to person connecting the dots between data and product strategy, ensuring our team has the insights to tackle key levers that move the business forward.

With data spread across multiple sources, we’re looking for a data expert to dive in, uncover hidden gems, and turn insights into action. You’ll be our go-to for spotting trends, identifying inefficiencies, and surfacing opportunities for improvement across our product ecosystem.

Your typical day will include:

  • Getting Curious – Dig into the data to find what’s really going on.
  • Storytelling – Explain what happened, why it happened, and what’s driving the numbers.
  • Providing Recommendations – Proactively offer clear steps to help us improve, move faster, and stay ahead.

If you’re driven by data, storytelling, and making a real impact, join us at Tealium and be a key player in creating a truly data-informed culture!

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop a robust measurement strategy that connects product performance to business success, identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience.

  • Developing a deep understanding of—and actively influencing—data structure, tagging, and flow across Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and other departments to generate insights that fuel data-driven decisions, meet customer needs, align with financial goals, and promote sustainable growth.

  • Build collaborative, influential relationships with stakeholders across Product Management, Product Growth, Data Engineering, Finance, and other teams to gather requirements, ensure data access, improve data reliability, and foster data-centric best practices.

  • Develop and maintain impactful SaaS metrics and dashboards for Product teams, ensuring that key metrics align product performance with business success.

  • Perform ad hoc analyzes with a sense of urgency to support critical strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.

  • Own and maintain data models, dashboards, and other data artifacts, ensuring they remain accurate and up-to-date.

  • Use Tealium data to analyze user behavior patterns and drivers, applying statistical inference or modeling to generate actionable insights that shape product and business strategies, improve the customer experience, and proactively communicate narratives to stakeholders to support a data-driven culture across the company.

  • Design and analyze experiments to evaluate the impact of new product features, guiding decision-making based on data insights.

WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM

  • 5+ years of experience using analytics to drive key business decisions, such as business/product/marketing analytics, business intelligence, or strategy consulting.

  • Experience applying advanced statistical techniques like regression analysis, cluster analysis, or machine learning to uncover insights and inform data-driven decisions.

  • Experience partnering with Product Managers to uncover actionable insights.

  • Experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R).

  • Advanced experience with SQL-based databases and general knowledge of database design.

  • Experience utilizing BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc) to create and maintain dashboards and data visualizations.

  • Strong understanding of data governance practices, data validation, and tagging frameworks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

  • Familiarity with Pendo Insights & Guidance for user behavior insights and event tracking.

  • Familiarity with SaaS-specific KPIs (e.g., churn rate, LTV, ARR) and tools like Salesforce for customer and financial data integration.

  • Have a bias for using the right tools to get the job done with efficiency.

  • Demonstrated ability to present complex analytical findings in a clear and compelling manner, adjusting the communication to suit the technical and business understanding of diverse audiences.

  • Possess the self-confidence to thrive in a dynamic, diverse and growing organization.

  • Ability to work effectively with teams, and individually.

  • Show initiative, self-directed action to accomplish objectives.

  • Previous experience in a high-growth company desired.
