The Job:
As a Director Data Architecture, you’ll be part of our corporate team working a remote employee. You’ll get to:
Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
Design and implement data models, data flow diagrams, and data integration processes to support business needs.
Lead the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to identify data requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Work closely with the Advanced Analytics and AI teams to support data-driven initiatives and ensure the availability of high-quality data for advanced analytics and machine learning projects.
Oversee the design and implementation of data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions.
Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the data architecture.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data architects, data engineers, and other team members.
Develop and manage the data architecture budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
The Person:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise data architectures.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data governance best practices.
Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and big data technologies.
Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, and data visualization tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CDMP) are a plus.
