Our Hu brand within Mondelēz International is looking for a chocolate-loving Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. A great candidate will have a strong analytical background and experience developing reports that drive visibility in the organization. This role assumes primary responsibility for supporting the commercial side of the business, including sales, marketing and innovation.
Today, Hu makes a variety of delicious snacks and confections, including our award-winning dark chocolate bars, chocolate-covered nuts and fruit, and grain-free crackers. We aim to be a brand that leads with taste and nutrition, while balancing that ambition with a human-centric focus on purpose, sustainability, and ethical sourcing. How you will contribute:
You will:
Analyze financial, sales, and operational data to provide business insights
Support the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
Evaluate financial performance and identify areas for improvement
Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for management
Integrate and analyze data utilizing the NetSuite system & Power BI to draw meaningful conclusions
Develop performance metrics
Create financial/operational reports and models to support business recommendations
Assists in the development of strategic plans for proposed, new, or existing business operations

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial analysis and data collection/structuring.
BUSINESS ACUMEN and a basic understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market. Relevant experience in a regional (or sizeable local) business.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS including collaboration and communication skills within a larger Finance team. Team player with can do mentality to deliver results.
GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations.
Qualifications:
Are you maniacally detail oriented? Are you obsessed with constant improvement and efficiency? Then Mondelez and Hu would be honored to have your help. The requirements of the role are:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
2 or more years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry
Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, financial modeling, financial planning, and forecasting is required
Exceptional analytical skills, and adept at identifying trends and variances
High level of professionalism and ability to effectively communicate information with internal and external stakeholders in a positive and influential manner
Experience with Netsuite is preferred but not required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel - must be comfortable analyzing and manipulating large data sets
Experience in Power BI is preferred,
Ideally will have experience in the commercial side of the business, including sales, marketing and innovation.
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, rapid growth start-up environment
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a focus on teamwork, growth mindset and process improvement
Strong influencing and communication skills
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,100 to $89,950; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
