Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a Management Consultant Level 1 is expected to develop a Data Governance framework that is provincial in scope and focused on sharing of health information among BC Health Authorities and the Ministry of Health.

Requirements

7 years of recent experience in providing services of similar scope and complexity in the public sector demonstrating knowledge and understanding related to data and information governance with a particular focus on data access and data sharing involving large volumes of personal information.
Demonstrated knowledge of information related to Canadian legislation, regulations and policies. In BC these would be the Ministry of Health Act, the e-Health Act, and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act in British Columbia.
Demonstrated knowledge of data systems and analytics, including the use of large complex data sets to support analytics.
Managing with diverse collaborators across the sector in different levels and parts of an organization and leading teams in consensus building with members from across public sector organizations such as ministries, agencies, authorities, crown corporations and other public entities.
Managing and creating working relationships within a complex policy environment (business and social policies).
